Job Title: Care Supervisor for Sligo & Leitrim

Duties of a Care Supervisor:

• Manage all aspects of client care in the designated geographic region, including service reviews, updating care plans, and conducting risk assessments.
• Act as the line manager for care staff, providing support from induction training to SOPs and competency assessments.
• Address and support care staff in any issues or concerns they may encounter during care delivery.
• Contributing to the recruitment process and advertising across Sligo & Leitrim.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 9 am to 5 pm
• Friday: 9 am to 4:30 pm (paid lunch)

Essential Criteria:

• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Health Care Support or a degree in a related healthcare field (Nursing, OT, Physio, Social Care) including QQI Level 5 Care Skills & Care of the Older Person.
• Level 6 NFQ or above in related supervisory management or QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (6M4978).
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
