07/05/2004 – The Irish Times | More than 2500 Care Workers Excluded from Pay Deal

As a non-profit home care provider established in 1996, providing essential home support services across Galway, Mayo, and Roscommon, RHS Home Care Cooperative is deeply concerned about the exclusion of over 2500 workers from a critical healthcare pay deal agreed upon late last year.
As a member of the National Community Care Network (NCCN), we have issued the below national press release to highlight what we perceive as a breach of trust and fairness.

The staff in our community deserve recognition and support for their essential work.
We urge the Department of Health and the HSE to reconsider and include all home care workers in the pay deal to ensure fairness and equity.
