Light Housekeeping

Our Care Assistants can provide light housekeeping services to help manage daily household tasks, ensuring a healthy and safe living environment for our clients. Many older adults and people with disabilities struggle with household chores due to mobility issues or fatigue. A messy home can cause stress and increase the risk of falls, especially for those with mobility difficulties.

Housekeeping Services Provided:

  • Essential shopping: We assist clients in shopping for items that meet their healthcare and nutritional needs. This includes support for clients who can participate in shopping and doing the shopping for clients who cannot participate.
  • Meal preparation: We provide assistance with meal planning, including special diets, and preparing meals for clients who cannot participate. We also help clients who can participate in meal preparation and clean up after meals.
  • Laundry: We wash and dry clothes and linens used by the client or assist clients in performing these tasks.
  • Housework: We perform or assist with tasks needed to maintain a safe and healthy living environment for our clients. This includes general tidying up of the living area.

Please note that assistance with housework is limited to those areas of the home which are actually used by the client.
