Care Supervisor – Mayo Region

Duties of a Care Supervisor
- Responsible for your own dedicated geographic region covering Castlebar/Westport/Newport and surrounding areas
- Managing all aspects of client care; this will include service reviews, updating care plans, carrying out risk assessments.
- Line manager of the care staff in your area by supporting them from induction training, SOPs and competency assessments.
- Support for care staff in any issues or concerns that care staff may encounter while delivering care.
- The Candidate will also play a pivotal role in advertising and recruitment across North Mayo
Hours of work: Mon – Thur 9am to 5pm & Fri 9am to 4.30pm. (paid lunch)
Place of work: RHS Home Care office, James Street, Claremorris, Co. Mayo
Salary: Competitive rate of pay DOE and Qualifications – Paid weekly
Essential Criteria
- Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Heath Care Support Or Degree in related healthcare field i.e. Nursing, OT, Physio, Social Care Degree inclusive of QQI Level 5 Care Skills & Care of the Older Person. and Level 6 NFQ or above in related supervisory management or QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (6M4978)
- 1 years supervisory experience in Healthcare
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Good IT skills in Microsoft Office
- Full Clean Driving Licence and Access to a Car
